I choose a Crash Bandicoot Power-Up. In order to get past the enemies, he puts on a crate, hides himself underneath (like Snake) and starts moving. The enemies don't know it's him until he comes out.

But Crash Bandicoot’s enemies don’t react to him. They just carry out pre-decided tasks like walking back and forth or throwing flasks of chemicals in alternating spots. Crash being invisible would do very little to help him avoid them, unless it somehow caused all enemies to stop moving and attacking.

I take it you haven't played Twinsanity or Titans.

Sorry, I only play the real ones.
Fine, I'll change the quote. See if that changes your mind.

Titans and Twinsanity are both free-roaming, and the new Crash games are mostly free-roaming. But if it helps, I hate MOM and Titans isn't that great.
What I said, was: I played the game only once, and for very short time (very few minutes). It isn't enough time to have enough information about the game's mechanics and details.
For MOTHER games:
PK Retribution (If one party member dies, he/she tries one last attack that deals massive damage to all enemies.)
PK Explosion (Although it wastes almost all your PP and some HP, it deals massive damage on all enemies).
Mario:
Speedy mushroom (Really hard to get, it makes Mario go really fast for some seconds, it can also be dangerous.)

No more ideas.

I especially like the part about most of the MOTHER characters being he/shes.

I just feel compelled to mention Twinsanity is one of the better Crash games. Titans is also awesome in it's own right but not really like a crash game.
Honestly I think you're living in the past a bit, I've found the original Crash games aren't really that great having played The Wrath of Coretx and Twinsanity.
That said, Crash Team Racing is vastly superior to Nitro Kart and (Oh god) Tag Team Racing.
