Need help with Rayman 2 Uplay version ''CD MISSING!'' bug

So basically I bought Rayman 2 from Uplay like a month ago and I decided to play it recently. Well, everything was going well until I reached the Iron Mountains level. Everytime I try to play this level, after a few minutes in, a giant pirate head pops up in my screen with the message:
''CD MISSING! INSERT THE CD AND RESTART THE GAME''
Is there any ways to fix this annoying bug or did Ubisoft really put a broken game in their store?
Like seriously, the amount of work I had to do in order to make this game PLAYABLE is concerning, how can Ubisoft still let this game on their store? Can't they at least fix it so we don't have to worry about playing it on a Win10 OS?

You probably would've been better off with the GOG version, where they took more care to get stuff like that right. Still, you can download Carrot's Rayman Control Panel from the Modding and utilities section, which allows you to disable the pirate head altogether.

My experience with Uplay is limited to two games (Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands and Rayman Legends), and with both games I encountered issues, although not as annoying as yours (more like achievements not unlocking).

I harassed their support until they fixed my problems, you may choose to do the same. However, from practical point of view, PluMGMK's advice is probably the best.

Ooh thanks! I have the Rayman Control Panel already but I didn't know about that feature, tysm! I'll try that later today
And yeah I just realised that buying it from Uplay was a big mistake lol, probably never getting old games from Uplay again
