Re: Help :(
Howdy!
Maybe you can try to burn the image into a real disc and see what happens?
Are you using an emulator?

Re: Help :(
A few months ago, I downloaded a file called Rayman 2 & Rayman Forever [ no15 express]-1.rar. The link I used doesn't work anymore, but it looks like this will: http://torrentz.eu/search?f=Rayman+2+%2 ... press%5D-1.
It's the GOG (Good Old Games) version of the game. GOG is a site that sells old games. You can buy Rayman Forever there for $5.99: http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/rayman_forever. If you have money to spare, I encourage you to buy it there to support Ubisoft
...but like I said, it's possible to download the exact same GOG version of the game for free (which I did; hey, my parents didn't allow me to spend my money on it). The download I used includes Rayman Forever and Rayman 2, both GOG versions (but you can choose not to install R2 if you want). Rayman Forever is basically the same as Rayman Gold, except for the fact that some music was deleted. See http://www.gog.com/en/forum/rayman/guid ... soundtrack for how to install the complete soundtrack (won't take long).
No isos, cds etc. needed; it uses DOSBOX (an emulator). You just click the icon and the game starts!
It works without problems on my computer (Windows 7, 64-bit).
Note that your antivirus software may mark some files as viruses (it happened to me), but it's safe to run the game. See http://www.gog.com/en/forum/rayman/some ... _but_still for confirmation by a GOG employee.

Re: Help :(
I actually recommend the use of D-Fend Reloaded: it not only uses the DOSBox emulator, as well it has got a more friendly user interface.Electoon wrote:Have you tried using DOSBOX?

Like MDT mentioned, use this: http://rayman.bonusweb.cz/patches/psicorapha wrote:I'm having some trouble to install rayman gold here..

Since that's how I've been running Rayman Forever/Rayman Gold all these recent years plus I'm the lead moderator of the forum that discovered this, so I can help. You have to use the applications it provides, and the best result is given if you go into the raymangold directory (or wherever you installed the patch to) and run "DosBox.exe." This isn't DosBox itself, but it's configured as it's own standalone installation to run in DosBox.

Re: Help :(
Yep, I've been using the Rayman Gold patch for several years now and it works fine. When you've got it set up, you simply have to click on the Rayman Gold start menu link instead of having to set it up in DosBox every time. Plus, it's configures it so you don't have to worry about solving frame rate issues every time you play (and believe me, that is annoying!).RayFan9876 wrote: Like MDT mentioned, use this: http://rayman.bonusweb.cz/patches/

Either that or the GOG.com version, which does pretty much the same thing, but that costs money, so I wouldn't really recommend it unless you have the lousy Focus Interactive version of Rayman Gold with no music
