I'm not exactly sure but RayCarrot has created a C# library for reading and writing a lot of data from Rayman 1 including the PC version and it's spinoffs like Rayman Junior and Rayman Designer.

I saw something about it in there...

https://github.com/BinarySerializer/Bin ... pes/PC/SND

but I can't test it myself due to some .NET framework issues.

You can find the audio files in Rayman 2\Data\World\Sound
In this folder you will find .apm and .bnm files, you'll see that they are so many, so I suggest reading this list, it might help you to find the audio you're looking for.

.bnm files are bank files containing some of the sfx and music from the game, to extract their content I suggest using foobar2000 with vgmstream plugin.
Foobar2000 is not able to play the .apm files that are not contained in the .bnm files, so to convert them into .wav you should use ray2get

Wait are we referring to Rayman 1 or 2, I thought we were referring to Rayman 1?

Oopsie, I have no idea why I thought about Rayman 2, spookray did not specify it :oops2:
Maybe it is because Rayman 2 is always in my mind as it is my favourite Rayman game :fou2:

If they mean Rayman 1 you can find the ripped sfx in this thread or here for the PS1 version

Reposting the link here: https://www.mediafire.com/?8n3j5eg9lomc7ku
A twelve-year-old MediaFire link that still works, that's something!

Other one: https://www.mediafire.com/?572ggvov7bundcy

EDIT: Anyway, a more direct answer to the question "how to rip the sound", is to set up Ray1Map on your PC, and click "Export Sound" near the bottom of the Ray1Map Settings panel :)
