Rayman Pirate-Community

I saw this on Dark Rayman's entry on RayWiki and I'm very unsure if this is actually true considering Raymesis is a clone of Rayman but isn't listed as a "sibling" via cloning, nor has Ubisoft even confirmed if that Rayman being cloned to make evil versions is considered creating "siblings".
Can anyone shed light on this?

From the looks of things this might be a carryover from Bad Rayman (the original clone from Rayman 1), being listed as a sibling, and this used as a basis for future counts. I'm not quite as it's ever confirmed if being generated as a magical facsimile counts as being a sibling. As far as I recall while they're made in the image of Rayman, I don't know if he himself has any involvement in the spell outside of being the reference.

I'd be of the opinion to remove in all cases personally.

Yeah, I genuinely don't see how him, Raymesis and Bad Rayman are siblings to Rayman in any case, Ubisoft's never really confirmed anything about that. They're clones, sure, that's confirmed. But siblings? That's where I'm like, "Uhhh, you sure???"

Can we check who originally wrote that on the Bad Rayman article? It sounds like yet another whimsical extrapolation made by an overly enthusiastic contributor in the early days of the wiki (up there with "all electoons are female" and the controversial assignment of classical elements to the four masks).

Ah geez... Spiralllll pls correct this, there's no way that Bad Rayman and Shadow/Dark Rayman are siblings to Rayman... :'D

It's cute to think about but it's not true...

If you are able to, you could always edit the page yourself

By that logic that would mean they have some sort of relation to Globox too, as Rayman's "id" and "blood brother"?

I just realized this was my 40000th post If I had known that I would have mentioned the "lesbian electoon theory" joke too

Update for everyone: I have edited the respective pages, and did edit some of the text for grammar reasons. Hope that was okay!!

Looks ok, I've no issues my end.

As a friendly suggestion and future reference, the WIki also has talk pages. I think for the sake of organisation, it might be better to raise issues on a Talk Page first, then attempt a forum thread if the Talk Page hasn't been responded to. It sounds like a pain, but for bookkeepings sake it works best to have any issues with an article logged to its associated talk page, rather than a more "detatched" thread that isn't always going to be the easiest to find.

It was actually quite easy to edit, didn't have any trouble at all. And no, you weren't making me feel bad, I was more embarrassed at myself lol
