I uploaded a backgroundless version of this image here (not with a white background, but without a background), and in a higher resolution. Since that image is not a jpg, but a webp, I couldn't upload it as a newer version of this image.

  • I suggest converting the existing transparent webp image to a jpg file, then uploading that as a newer version of the jpg image with the white background. —Preceding unsigned comment added by RayGamer99 (talkcontribs) 22:55, 19 April 2025 (CEST)
You also know that jpg image can't be transparent.

What is the source of the new image? Is the background originally white or transparent? — 11:23, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
Transparent.

And what is the source? — 13:48, 25 April 2025 (UTC)
The source is here.

Your link is broken, but it is obvious from the filename that someone used the remove.bg service to make it transparent. Therefore, it is not official and the previous version should be used instead. — 15:14, 25 April 2025 (UTC)
True. But the person who uploaded the image had to get a better resolution image from somewhere.

That's very likely, but they could also have used an upscaling tool, those are pretty common nowadays. — 10:00, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
Delete that image?

I cannot, as it is currently used in articles. — 15:56, 11 May 2025 (UTC)
Now none of the articles use the image. I have reset it.

Return to the file "C ray.jpg".
