First Bad Dream and antitoons
I'm not sure I understand why the story of the First Bad Dream conflicts with absence of antitoons from certain games: because we don't encounter them doesn't mean they don't exist in the many places not visited in said games. Same with Polokus having his first nightmare "before the existence of the antitoons": first of all, like explained in the article, it is possible that they already existed elsewhere anyway, and most importantly, "stuff of nightmares" is a phrase, and in no way does it unequivocally indicate that nightmares shouldn't exist without them. Overall, I'm not sure if mentioning either of those points is actually relevant for the article. —![]()

- I agree with you there, the First Bad Dream doesn't seem to conflict with the absence of Darktoons (I prefer to call them Darktoons when referring more generally to them) in certain games. I can see how some people may think Darktoons literally make up Polokus's nightmares, as that is what seems to be hinted at in the manual ("If Electoons make up all of Bubble Dreamer's good dreams, the Darktoons are the stuff of nightmares"), though like you said that is just a phrase and doesn't especially confirm that the Darktoons are the primary result of his nightmares. The way I see it, like the article says, the Electoons prevent the Darktoons from popping up in the games that they don't appear in because they are able to soothe Polokus and keep his dreams good; meanwhile in Rayman 1 and Rayman Origins, in which the Electoons are captured, there's no one to keep his dreams in check and he starts having nightmares. Thus, enter Darktoons (and all the other nightmare baddies). Of course, this still doesn't explain why the Darktoons weren't in Rayman Legends (outside of Back to Origins, of course), but I guess a few nightmares still slipped through the cracks in the 100 year(!) gap between Origins and Legends. -RayGamer99
