Challenges come in the forms of triathlons, pentathlons, and decathlons. Triathlons are worth 3,000 score mode points and contain 3 minigames, pentathlons are worth 5,000 score mode points and contain 5 minigames, and decathlons are worth 10,000 score mode points and contain 10 minigames. Like in the rest of score mode, each minigame is worth 1,000 score mode points. Each challenge also requires a certain amount of points in the score mode in order to be played.
