You have to play in multiplayer mode ;)
You have to play in multiplayer mode ;)
Yeah, that's right. Music Mode is only available in Multiplayer. In Multiplayer, the music that you hear in race games is determined by which player was first when they passed the checkpoint. With Special Music Mode turned on, instead of changing the music every time the first player passes the checkpoint, the music changes whenever a new player gets in the lead. --Shrooblord

My (PC, Polish) version of RM features 2 multiplayer modes: Race and... something else. Anybody care enough to find the English name of the thing? The rules were simple: 2nd player lost if she/he did not manage to pass the checkpoint set amount of time after 1st player passed it. --Stan423321 08:50, 28 June 2011 (UTC)

::After a quick check in the page history, the contributor who added this to the article is none other than... Dreyfus2006. Any objections before I trash this? — 13:15, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
: I'm thinking of finally grabbing a copy of the gamecube version seeing as I have access to a modded console that can run both American and Japanese games.  If I do come across one complete I'll see what it says. In the meantime, do trash this please, Drey may not be active here anymore but he was known for pulling such bullsh.  --Cairnie 14:58, 18 July 2011 (UTC)

Editing Notes
Just put this up to see if anyone agrees with some notes I'd like to edit about the page.
1) In the Weapons section, Fake Generators are proclaimed to look just like normal ones. However, they have a red Spiral Door sign instead of a yellow one - also, they are tinted a little darker if I remember rightly.
2) Again in the Weapons section, it is said Firework Bullets are useless at long range. I tend to disagree - with skill you can work out where a player will be at the time a Firework will hit the ground, aim for that place as opposed to the actual player and then see the firework hit them spot on. Also, when aimed upwards, the Bullet will travel great lengths, making it useful in long range combat.
I noticed the descriptions are the official ones, but there's no harm done in informing the reader about the actual state of things, is there?
I will add more points if I can think of some.

:I think it's important that we preserve the official descriptions intact, but it would be good to add some extra notes, perhaps at the end of the list. We really should have an article for the Generators. —Spiraldoor 18:52, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
::I agree. There are small notes that can be added about every weapon. --Haruka 19:48, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
Development
Very recently, it was discovered the existence of a Rayman M demo for PlayStation 2, and the build seems to be done months before the final release of the game, but with some notable differences. Don't you think it is pertinent to create a Rayman M (Development) article based up in those known new informations? --Haruka 19:56, 8 August 2014 (CEST)
:Why not? If we have enough content and images on that subject, we should create an article about it. -- Boomboleros7 20:38, 8 August 2014 (CEST)
::Having kept up with Project ULR, it seems they've found quite a few hidden gems, I think we ought to consider adding these to the wiki too. I also plan on compiling glitches from the glitch thread for articles such as the one I've already made for Rayman 2-- 00:03, 9 August 2014 (CEST)
:::Certainly, we should at least have an early development section if there are notable differences. — 14:25, 9 August 2014 (CEST)
::::I will try to record the demo footage tomorrow, and paralely to take some screenshots that can be used in the same article after. --Haruka 00:40, 10 August 2014 (CEST)
Grammar
Could a native English speaker give me some advice on whether "the" should be used before the name of any stage from Rayman M (for example, which one is correct: "The number of item generators in the Treasure Ship is thirteen" or "The number of item generators in Treasure Ship is thirteen")? I mean, none of the levels are referred to with "the" in the game itself and I'm kinda confused, as English is not my native language. - Fussilli (talk) 11:35, 29 December 2024 (UTC)
:There's no definitive answer I'd say, but overall the answer tends to be yes if the name of the level is that of a place and no if it's a phrase or a metaphor. Rayman M has a lot of the latter so I think it's fine to stick with the current consensus of not using the definite article for this game. — 00:15, 30 December 2024 (UTC)
