I love video games like a bird loves to fly, and I would know. I have been playing for over 10 years now. Due to my love of games, I do a lot of fan art because of an overwhelming urge to draw my favorite characters. I also like to write, and I have combined my love of art and writing to make original comics. I have finished the scripts of two comics and am now working on drawing one of those comics. I also write reviews for Amazon. For whatever reason, I am quite determined to get the top reviewer rank. I probably never will, but it won’t stop me from trying.

My first "Rayman" game was "Rayman 2: The Great Escape". | My first "Rayman" game was "Rayman 2: The Great Escape". I remember when I first saw it. I had recently gotten a Nintendo 64, and I kept seeing the game, but passing it by at the store. (At the time, I thought Rayman looked like a bizarre dog for some reason. Don’t see the resemblance now.) It looked like fun, and I finally decided to buy it. And it was awesome. I became an instant fan. That game is still my favorite “Rayman” game. I loved the strange looking characters and unique locations. The way the characters sounded like they were speaking in their own language. I loved that Rayman had no limbs and that he could use his hair like a helicopter and everything. (And I loved Globox and his rain dance.) What’s funny is I played the game many times, got all the 999 Yellow Lums, but it wasn’t until years later that I found secret Lum number 1000. It was so satisfying when I did. It’s so exciting to found out there’s still something I’ve missed in one of my favorite games.
I' | I later got "Rayman Advance" (I'm ashamed I don't have the original, original "Rayman".) That one was too hard for me. I currently need to get all the Electoons to get to the final world. I haven't been able to finish it yet. I think someday I’ll get the original “Rayman” and see how I do. I’ve always had better luck with console games.
After that, I got "Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc". I enjoyed that game, despite some of its issues. I do wish the game wasn’t so silly. I really liked the feel of “Rayman 2”, and “Rayman 3” doesn’t have that. It’s still a lot of fun, and I love the funny quotes. When I can understand them. And I loved getting points. My best score so far is 412,056. I know, not the best score out there, but I tried. I know I can do better some time.
I also got the first "Rayman: Raving Rabbids" game, then sold it. Not a big fan of those really. I got it because I was feeling “Rayman” deprived. After that, years later, I got "Rayman Origins". That game was great. Wonderful music, beautiful graphics. I wish the story wasn’t so unclear, though. It was still super fun. I got all 246 Electoons and even beat the secret boss, Big Mama. I look forward to "Rayman Legends", but I wish more games were made like "Rayman 2".
