These depictions show him holding swords, carrying spears, wearing suits of armour and breathing fire. Here he appears to be mainly black in colour, and his eyes are red rather than yellow. Engravings on the walls mention the name 'Dark Rayman'.

A colored version of that artwork was later found, giving him red hair, orange eyes, and an X on his chest similar to [[Dark Rayman (Rayman Arena)|Dark Rayman]] from the GameCube and Xbox versions of ''[[Rayman Arena]]''.
