Rayman Origins is the latest Rayman game to be announced, and the first in a number of years to officially split form the Rabbids franchise. The game is set to be released in a series of episodes that will explore how "this uncontrollable individual (Rayman) and his grotesque companion (Globox) become the heroes that we know?"

Currently little is known about the story or gameplay, nor if it is a true sequel or merely a reboot of the series.
