The host of the ''Who's a Bright Spark?!'' quiz show, a red [[Spark (Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope)|Spark]], poses eight random questions related to the game to the heroes. To emerge victorious, they need to answer at least six questions correctly, with room for up to three incorrect responses. After the quiz show, the [[Spark (Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope)|Spark]] is taken aback when instead of the promised prize, an all-expenses paid vacation to Palette Prime, they discover a [[Darkmess]] Puddle. After the heroes clear the [[Darkmess]] Puddle, they are rewarded with a [[Gold Prism]], but the [[Spark (Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope)|Spark]] does not join them.

Instead, he offers them to engage in a lightning round, which follows the same rules as the regular trivia round. Successfully completing the lightning round results in the heroes receiving a treasure chest filled with [[coin]]s.

After a bit, [[Darkmess portal]]s appear, spawning new [[Lone Wolf|Lone Wolves]] and [[Flamin' Stooge]]s.
