Big Bang is a rather small-sized racing loop placed in a set of narrow corridors and rooms with very tall walls. The landscape is, unlike the twelve main race tracks, which feature a ''[[Rayman 2: The Great Escape|Rayman 2]]''-related theme, a bright green polygonal mesh. Multiple [[Bumper|bumpers]], climbing walls, dash boards, [[Purple Lum]]s and slippery surfaces are present. The player is also confronted by several types of obstacles, such as falling and rolling [[Keg|kegs]], two boxes and moving fences. The most unique of the obstacles are a red mud-like floor with a lot of bumpers with a rotating platform above and a long sliding chute full of [[Explosive barrel|explosive barrels]]. The map features only two [[Switch|switches]]. An alternative path or more paths are almost always available, except for the final sliding section.
