Changed order of pictures.

Cleaned up, added more info and removed stubb as I feel it has all the info it needs. Perhaps some pictures of the anti-dark matters would be good as well.

Rayman (Nintendo DSi) is a port of the original Rayman game. As with Rayman Advance, it resembles the PC version most closely.
Rayman (Nintendo DSi) is a port of the original Rayman game which was released as a DSi-Ware title. As with Rayman Advance, it resembles the PC version most closely.

Most noteable of the differences is that the game has been modified to be easier in difficuclty. Rayman now starts off with 6 units of health (which is double the starting amount of health in the original) which can be extended to 10 with a Big Power. The number of Continues has also been changed to 30. Other additions, such as more frequent appearances of the Photographer and some additional platforms also add to this. Rayman also recieves an extra life for every 50 tings, and tings are not lost when he dies. Most bosses also retain their lost health when the player dies during a battle.

Much of the music has been removed, although what is left has now been programmed to loop. Some of the graphics and sound effects have been changed for various reasons, such as DSiware space limitations (one notable change is that a lot of the sound effects, including Rayman's voice, are deeper in tone).
Differences from Rayman 1
Compared to the PC version of the original game, this port has been modified to be a lot easier in several ways. Rayman now starts off with 6 units of health (which is double the starting amount of health in the original) which can be extended to 10 with a Big Power. Lives can be obtained more frequently and only 50 tings is required now instead of 100 for a new life. The number of Continues has now been increased to 30 and the Photographer appears in several new locations. To make backtracking easier, the player can now skip to the next part of the player by pressing the select button. This only works in levels which have already been completed.

New to the game is a menu titled 'Anti Dark-Matters' which acts like a checklist to keep track of the player's progress on the game. As well as having check boxes for having beaten a world and having freed all the Electoons, the player is also rewarded for having completed a world, and ultimately the game, without the use of any Continues. Taking advantage of the DSi's camera, the Photographer now takes a picture of the player at every checkpoint, which is used to represent the saved game in the menu. The second screen is also used to display a map of Rayman's immediate surroundings, which highlights where each checkpoint and exit sign is.
A noticeable issue is that whenever Rayman takes damage, he is now pushed back a lot further. While this can in some cases make it easier to quickly get away from the the enemy or object which inflicted the damage, it can also cause the player to quickly loose control over Rayman if he keeps getting pushed back and forth. This is most notably an issue in Allegro Presto.

The game also includes a level skipping "cheat". If a level is being replayed (i.e. it has already been completed previously) then the player can press the select button on the DSi to skip the current part of the level, or to finish the level if the player is on the last part of it.
Other differences includes a few missing soundtracks and a lot of the sound effects, including Rayman's voice, being deeper in tone. Some of the textures have been updated, most notably in Band Land where the musical staves are now black instead of white. Some levels have receieved minor updates, such as Eat at Joe's having added dialogue where Joe talks to Rayman before giving him the firefly. The ending has also been expanded compared to other versions. Another noteworthy difference is the option to have four letters in each save slot name instead of the usual three. The names can now also be changed manually from the pause menu, instead of having the player first copying and then renaming it.
