To take up this ancient discussion once again, the assertion here that they are all female still seems to be based on speculation. Furthermore, the French wiki makes no such assertion: the infobox there says they are either male or female. Which is right? Love for Rayman?
I'm pretty sure that the hearts that appear represent the electoons showing love for each other. When two electoons come close together after being freed, they seem to pair up, and that's when the heart appears. --Plumgmk 15:42, 2 August 2012 (CEST)
