According to Olivier Dauba, the lead gameplay programmer, he originally developed a first person gameplay because he was playing a lot of ''Half-Life''. == Portable versions ==

Several portable versions were made of ''Rayman 3'', such as [[Rayman 3 (Game Boy Advance)|the Game Boy Advance version]] and [[Rayman 3 (mobile phone)|the mobile phone version]]. Although they share the same name, they are entirely different games.
