*Mr. Dark shares similarities with Judge Doom from the film Who Framed Roger Rabbit:
**He is an evil and mysterious being in a dark disguise that covers his real identity. It is never revealed who and how he really was after being defeated and dissolving.
**His origins are never revealed (probably a nightmare of Polokus or a corrupted dream-creature like his successor the Magician or André the Dark Lum, but not even Polokus confirms that when he mentions him) and it is not explained why he would hurt the other inhabitants of his own world.
