Candy Château

The Candy Château (Candy Castle) is a location in the original Rayman. It is the last of the six worlds Rayman has to go through in order to find Mr Dark, who has a castle located there. As the name of the world implies, it is an imaginary world where everything is made up entirely of sweet food such as cakes, chocolate, lollipops etc. It will also only be accessible once every single cage of Electoons has been broken, and as a result there are no cages there.

Events

Bad Rayman

This world is notable for a number of strange events that occur, as Mr Dark casts different spells on Rayman. First, he had created Bad Rayman, which was a dark duplicate of Rayman that copied every single move he made. It could not be attacked, though when it touches him, he dies, and the only way to destroy it is completing the level.

Reverse Controls

The next spell Mr Dark casts on you is a change of the player's controls - if the player wanted to go right for example, Rayman would be walking left instead. As a result, this makes the level much harder, though it will only last until you complete the level.

Running

Mr Dark then casts another spell on you in which you are constantly running and you cannot stop, again making the level more difficult. By the end of the level, this wears off, but Mr Dark finally steals your Fist powers.
