Beyond Good and Evil 2 is an upcoming action-adventure video game published and developed by Ubisoft. Initially a narrative sequel to Beyond Good & Evil, the game was finally changed to a prequel. The game was officially unveiled in 2017 with an announcement trailer, and in 2018 another cinematic trailer was released.

After the game's absence in Ubisoft's E3 2021 presentation, some concerns started to arise regarding the future of the series, however in July 2nd of the same year, the Ubisoft Belgium and Ubisoft Nederland twitter accounts published a post related with World UFO Day, and included the hashtag #BGE2. Besides in an Ubisoft sales report published in July 20, 2021, it was stated that the company has ambitious plans for the biggest existing franchises, including Beyond Good and Evil 2.
