I believe this was the one. So, yes, November 17 2011. RayLums, DesLife and I went and it was a lot of fun.

There was also the art contest (French/English), for which I believe some of the prizes included the slapping glove. Or maybe I got one when visiting the Paris Games Week show, I can't remember for sure.

Wow, I didn't know you went to one of those :shock:. Thanks for the info, I guess this is worth including in the wiki (for the merchadising section).

And yes, there used to be quite a few events back in the days. Hopefully, Ubi will start engaging with the community again in the future.
 
I wonder if Ubisoft are getting ready to announce a new Rayman game, they posted Rayman concept art on their social media accounts back in 2020 and then deleted the post and now Rayman is getting DLC in Sparks of Hope and we're getting a Rayman figure.
 
I personnally don't like the Youtooz figure so I'll pass, proportions are weird and the pose doesn't make any sense, it looks like Rayman just captured an electoon and is proud of it. The transparent neck ruins it all even more. Very bad design, even the McDonald's toys were way better.
 
I don't mind the proportions, however I agree that it looks like Rayman captured the electoon (or that he found the cage but has no intention of helping the electoon). It makes Rayman look like the bad guy.
 
Hey people, don’t post much on this but do love the discussions you all have and the links you post! Just posting this out of chance, this is the last main thing that I’ve been wanting for my collection - honestly haven’t ever seen it listed for sale anywhere, but if anyone does ever come across, could you please let me know? Hola peoples! Today I was cleaning out my videogames, and I found that - although I have thrown away many Rayman games, unfortunately, including a huge Rayman 1 box - I did still have four of them. They are all in Dutch (that is, the cover; in-game the language is whatever you choose it to be), and of particular interest might be 'Engels met Rayman' ('English with Rayman').

I will put them up for sale on some random sites next week probably, but I thought, perhaps I can make a collector here happy with it.

If this goes against the forum rules, please let me know and feel free to delete this post. :)

Basically, the ibb.co links go to a page where the image is hosted, not the image itself, and phpBB doesn’t know how to parse that.

Instead of

you’ll have choose the BBCode option and copy the code that it generates:
