Playing through the USA version so soon after the EU version really shows how bad it is. Sound and animation bugs, that major glitch from that video is 100% unavoidable if you defeat that enemy. That bug got through QA lol.
As expected, I could not get the glitch. The other thing he mentions is that that robot has no real death animation in the US version. I have started a playthrough of US version on my flashcart.
I would highly doubt it has anything to do with the game boy player considering it is not emulation but just the GBA hardware mounted to the bottom of the Gamecube. I have a Gameboy player so I will give a go with the EU copy at some stage.
I don't think there are any major differences in the games. I notice that the EU version did come out a little bit later so maybe they fixed some bugs.
