Well, not really. 1/0 simply doesn't exist. You could say that 1/0⁺ = +∞ and 1/0^- = -∞ (these are limits), but there's nothing you can say about 1/0.
And zero actually is a number, it's the neutral element for addition and the absorbing element for multiplication.

Also, what I said wasn't really complicated, I studied it when I was 13 or 14.
