I don't know if any of you heard the news, but a fully 2000/XP/Vista compatible version of both Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee and Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus, is available on Steam as of yesterday. I purchased both in their $13 (right now anyway with the discount) package. I'm still waiting on Abe's Exoddus to download, but it's great to be able to play the original again! :D

I wonder why the glukkons and the sligs even made it. :lololol:
 
Well, they do kill 28 of the Mudokens if you escape without rescuing them first.

And I hand it to these people.. in the first game, you certainly do feel like an escaping slave. o_o

And now that this is on Steam, I'm wondering if the Windows version of Out of this World/Another World will come too... that game was sweet. It kind of has a similar feel.

The good thing(s): New Oddworld game. :D
The bad thing(s): It will take long time to make, and it probably won't come for the Wii, or any older system. :(

Anyway, in Abe's Oddysee, I'm in the Paramite Temple now, which is actually further than I've gone before since the first time I played.
 
Never heard that.

Anyways, if i should choose between scrabs and paramites, i would choose paramites.
1. They are not as agressive as scrabs.
2. "When there's one, it can be fun. Two... you better run." But when there's just one scrab, you're dead meat.
3. Paramites are cooler. They can actually move around, unlike the scrabs.
4. Paramites can be cute. Scrabs are just monsters.
 
No enemies sounds nice in a way, but there wouldn't be anyone to kill. :(
(Killing slogs by possessing a slig is awesome!)
 
See that picture of the SoulStorm Brewery that I posted on the first page of this topic? I set that as my PS3's wallpaper. 8) It's nice to just see it every time I turn it on...and BTW, I downloaded an emulator that lets my PS3 play NES ROMs, and it's awesome.
