About the Canon/Sony thingy...

Both cameras are very similar. Sony one has more advantags but is also mroe expensive (I do'nt think you care about the digital zoom, but the higher resolution on stills can prove useful...). I can't say much more, I'm mroe into photography than videos for now.

I started taking a look at DSLR cameras a few months ago, as I began to take photos only in manual mode and even trying to switch to RAW format for pictures. It takes a bit of effort at first, but after a few sessions, pictures can look even better. Howevern having a preset ready just in case is always good: sometimes you simply don't have enough time to play with the three parameters impacting exposure. (Oh, and, to specify, I have a NikonD5100 with a 18-105 optical zoom. I was so happy when my father offered it to me, as even if this setup is at the bottom of DSLRs, it already costs tons of money).

Maybe that's why he wants a camera, so he can record that. :shock:
 
Nah, just the YouTube editor. I don't use any special features when editing, just basic cropping etc.

I wonder how to install Most Wanted together with Underground 1 and 2 – when I launch the MW installer, the games “fight”.

Any help on that?
 
@ Roles: I often thought about making a Youtube channel myself, but when I read the remuneration rates for video views I was kind of put off. If you were serious with your comment, I'd also be interested in seeing your channel and how you plan to generate a shitload of hits for $$$.

I haven't made the channel yet, that's gonna happen when I get all my equipment sorted! I need to bottom out if I need some studio lights haha, wanna go-pro! Just without the gopro..

Sorry if I've missed it elsewhere, but what exactly is it you want to do in front of said equipment?
 
I'm going to be making comedy stuff for the most part. Also if I can add any value to current trends, I'm gonna do that too. But I've decided this time, I'm going to pursue this properly. I've made a decision, and I've decided to follow my dreams. Yeah the pay isn't that great, I think you get like a grand per million views? But it's very difficult to work out accurately as it's always a different story with different videos. Very hard to gauge. Totally depends on how people interact with the vid.
