So basically you can only die during the day when a lynch is taking place (unless an ability lets you or something), and the Mafia must decide who they'll choose in the daily lynch during the night?
I was a bit confused when it said the Mafia kill at night, so do they, or do they just decide during the night who to kill during the day in the lynch?

Not quite. The Mafia do kill at night separate to the lynch.

Mafia go out at night, and kill a dude. Morning after, villagers decide to be vigilantes and kill another dude based on who they think is guilty.

And who tells the villager that they die during the night?
And how do the Mafia kill during the night, is it another vote, and if so how do you vote without any villagers seeing?

The Mafia communicate with each other via PM and one of them PMs the host to say whom they're killing.
And they do blend in with the villagers by day, so they can steer the lynches to their advantage if their manipulation skills are good enough.

Additionally, the death of each night's victim is announced at the beginning of the day.

How do the Mafia organise a whole vote over PM? Do they just decide on someone to ask everyone what their vote is? And if so, couldn't someone rig the results pretty easily?
Surely something like a Straw Poll would be better, one that only the Mafia members can see?
Otherwise how do they organise the whole voting system through PM?

Since I was on here to share my thoughts about the recent events I may as well say I'm confirming my participation for this. Though depending on how life plays out for me i may need to drop out later, though I really don't have a clue at the minute, I guess it depends how long it goes on for, and how and when life wants to buttfuck me next.
