Dude, that song dates back to Cave Men times. Still beautiful.

Not really, just last week. But close!Bradandez wrote:Dude, that song dates back to Cave Men times. Still beautiful.
Oh my god, I wrote like 30 songs about stuff like abusive relationships, terrorism, following your dreams, extending your horizons, slavery in times when it shouldn't exist anymore, love and chronophobia, envy, going crazy, greedy corporations, being frowned upon for your ideas and originality, deaths of people close to you, eventually finding a way... but this? This is my masterpiece. You just can't compare. You bet your sweet butt I'm proud.Jewish Candy wrote:You're really fucking proud of that.

Speaking of bus, here is the oldest bus I photographed myself:Bradandez wrote:
We've gone long enough without a bus post.

It was used in classic movie called "Who's Singin' Over There?"
I like the retro design of it so much

As long as you no longer believe that this leak was real. Believing that at this point would be like not believing in evolution.OldClassicGamer wrote:LOL, how on earth can you crush what I believe in? No matter what you say, I am not changing my views on this.
Also, anyone believing that I can be really hurt over video game related things beyond "aw damn it, ah well there is always gonna be another chance" must be insane. I guess you still didn't learn that I have my own ways of looking at things and for me, even if this turns out not to be confirmed tomorrow, I still have reasons to be excited and happy. In the end, only you can feel bad while I will feel fantastic either way.

Are the eyebrows that bad?
Re: Rayman (kinda) confirmed for Smash Bros.
According to Brad, nope.
According to Master, Candish and others, yes.
You decide.

I don't disagree with the fact that some have a harder time controlling their own emotions than others, though I can't help but detect a little bit of irony here. In addition to what I just said, you seem willing to embrace self-pity as a viable solution by judging/slandering those who feel that perhaps setting yourself up for a fall by resting your hopes in a quick rumour is a little more self-inflicted than, say, assault, and therefore not deserving of the same level of empathy.ripa9 wrote:These two comments really do fit together. That said, have you read OCG's posts, what most of the people here were replying to? The thought process is just as shamelessly slapped together as the replies are shamelessly humourous.

To make them look like fools? I would too since "Evil Craig" is still a thing.OldClassicGamer wrote:Why would they tell ScrewAttack that they will make a statement on Tuesday if nothing is planned?

You folks are funny. Anyway, I've been playing this fan mod of Project M (yeah, a mod of a mod) that has a lot of cool skins for all the characters. It doesn't always look clean but it's really fun nonetheless, and it includes Rayman as a model swap of Luigi.

Anyway sorry if this is already well-known, just thought I'd share it for those who were also burned by the fake leak.

Re: Rayman (kinda) confirmed for Smash Bros.
In honesty, I've also been into the series for around 15 years, I remember lurking about RZ, and cheering on the Rabbids Disownership Club and so on. I've edited on RayWiki back when they had guest editing (mine was a completely rubbish edit, due to me being a kid at the time, it's probably gone now). I've bought Rayman games again on newer platforms to compensate for the loss of older ones.
The thing is though, I've learnt to maintain some sort of perspective, it's unhealthy and unwise to invest yourself blindly into Rayman, and not keep tabs on things that are more vital to maintain. Had I been a bit younger, I'd probably be part of the crowd wildly expressing their distaste and fury. But I don't see the point in doing so now, a part of me was heavily disappointed in learning that this was a fake leak. But at the same time, I know it's not something worth fretting about, especially seeing as I've got more important things, like Uni, that have far more weighting and bearing in my life.

Re: Rayman (kinda) confirmed for Smash Bros.
^This, which I feel demonstrates a much less emotionally-fueled method of dealing with... well, entirely inconsequential issues. How is it much different than seeing a grown adult literally break down into tears because their fries came without the extra salt? I'd feel sorry that they felt so strongly about it, but I would legitimaty ponder how pathetic that person would have to be, assuming they're someone of apt mental capacity (allowing them to actually be juxtaposed to "the majority").
Besides, while I'm sure we can all agree that having Rayman in Smash would be nice, it isn't even an objectively good thing. Each character has its fans and haters.

People need to stop about Project M. The whole premise of its existence is because butthurt pros went all "wah wah, Brawl is not Melee". But that's not the issue : in order to play it, you have to alter your console. And if you fuck up, your console is mostly dead at it's somehow Nintendo's fault (I've read that maybe a million times). That's a lot to risk just because Brawl is not enjoyable by the 1% since it's not Melee.

Re: Rayman (kinda) confirmed for Smash Bros.
Gotta +1 both Master and Ad. I do feel for those who've been badly burned by this, and I'm not about to judge or invalidate the background behind those feelings - if it hurts, it hurts. But to say that those who have reacted in a more measured way must be "living the most carefree life" is quite bizarre. These are probably the folk with the least carefree lives... notice it's mostly the older ones, who have jobs/uni to worry about, who have been fairly calm about the whole thing.
For us to be comparatively indifferent is not a slight to the strength of your reaction, it's an indication of differing priorities.

You do realize there is Project M ISO which makes it 0 possible to fuck up your console?Pirez wrote:~~~ UNPOPULAR OPINION INCOMING !!! ~~~Sabertooth1000000000 wrote:You folks are funny. Regular way of installing is unsafe to me I admit but thats why people made ISO of it.

I'm also in agreement with Master and Adsolution. It is a real shame that this is not real, I felt disappointed. But at the same time it isn't the end of the world. At least SSB has got other characters I do like to play with. I am a big fan of Rayman but I also share love for different franchises, or else gaming would be pretty boring if I was constantly playing the very same thing.
Did Ubisoft declare anything already?

No news yet. I wonder if ScrewAttack was possibly trolling people saying that Ubisoft will say something today.
