The videos are encoded so half the pixels are missing. When they are played normally, the game stretches them to fix the screen. However, the game can't stretch them more than double their width, so they turn black. I just made the videos slightly wider, which causes them to stretch correctly.Adsolution said:

However, if the correct value is used, the game decides to stretch everything, so you have to make the float slightly (~0.00001) larger than would be correct.

._. it seems I can't seem to install directplay on windows 8.1 even with legacy features -> directplay on control panel it still has error 0x80073701 ;_;
