OldClassicGamer said:Dunno why they waited this long but I guess we now must message them and say something like: "So that was fake, now how about Rayman in Smash for real"
Adsolution said:I think the point is that we can't know for sure. I was almost certain there was going to be an Xbox One/PS4/PC release of GTA V at some point whereas many others didn't, and I ended up being right. I highly, highly doubt Rayman will make it into Smash at this point, but who knows.
sergiomonty said:While I kinda find frustrating that you just won't deal with the fact that Rayman isn't and won't be in Smash... I'm overjoyed by the idea that you'll still be there to make an ass out of yourself. Can't wait for the next fake news. Yay.
sergiomonty said:To be fair, if someone keeps expecting DLC from Smash Bros, that's because they haven't followed the development process of the game and don't know how Masahiro Sakurai works.
Sakurai is the kind of guy who takes a project, rocks everyone's world, then moves on. Take for example Kid Icarus Uprising. Can you believe it? how amazing it is for Nintendo to have revived another franchise in the most awesome and ambitious way possible!...err... nope, we're not having another one for the next 25 years. Why? because Sakurai has more stuff to do and doesn't want to expand on stuff that he already made good.
Not only that... the guy has serious muscular problems in his right arm right now, which makes it impossible for him (and therefore, his crew) to keep working on the franchise.
How can we expect more DLC? Sakurai's even said that he'll barely work on fixing balancing issues.
OldClassicGamer said:Sorry to inform you but the only person that makes an ass out of himself here is you. So far you made biggest deal out of this and showed how hard you take when someone doesn't think like you do.
OldClassicGamer said:You do realize every time Sakurai says he won't do something he does it?
sergiomonty said:Oh, what? This deal is not related to your hopes of Rayman being in Smash. It's quite the opposite. Having him in Smash would be incredibly awesome.OldClassicGamer said:Sorry to inform you but the only person that makes an ass out of himself here is you. The only problem that I have with you is that you discredited a man's talent, accused him of being a liar, and placed him in an scenario where he could get sued. Just because of a freaking fanart.
What was your excuse for not changing your mind on him? The fact that you were in denial with the fake Rayman reveal.
Why didn't you believe that this guy has talent? Probably the most idiotic reason I've ever read from you: Because he doesn't have more than 1000 subscribers on Youtube and you believe that he wants to pretend to have talent with his "lies".
In the worst case, you suddenly believed that the guy does actually have the talent to "replicate official artwork" in just one freaking day.
Because, of cooooourse, with such deadline, it's easy for any artist to replicate this:

You're the man.
I never said that, all I said is that Sakurai ends up doing many things he denies that he will do. It is sad that the suffers from calcific tenditis but thats not something new and he had that for a longer time. I am not saying that he should make stuff and DLC non stop but my point was that if there is demand, he will most likely do it.sergiomonty said:You say it like it was his choice to suffer from calcific tenditis.
There are many other people who work with Smash too. I perfectly understand Sakurai's condition but he is not only person who works there. He can for example be supervisor while someone else does main thing regarding future Smash 4 updates, patches, DLC, ect and new games.sergiomonty said:Sure, during the Brawl era, he stated that he wouldn't make another Smash Bros game because he thought that his development team reached the limits of the franchise. However, this time it's not just for the sake of sass. Things are getting pretty medical, man. He seriously can't handle the pain anymore. At this point, I can't help but wonder which types of games is he going to develop... if he's not retiring, of course.
I don't get how Ubisoft betrayed them I'm incredibly glad it went third party, it's very likely Legends would have sold HORRIBLY if it were Wii U exclusive, very smart move on Ubi's part.OCG said:Ubisoft betrayed Nintendo with both delay and multiplatform release

People need to stop about Project M. The whole premise of its existence is because butthurt pros went all "wah wah, Brawl is not Melee". But that's not the issue : in order to play it, you have to alter your console. And if you fuck up, your console is mostly dead at it's somehow Nintendo's fault (I've read that maybe a million times). That's a lot to risk just because Brawl is not enjoyable by the 1% since it's not Melee.
