Honestly, I know next to nothing about this game aside from it being a multiplayer fighting game with characters from different franchises. I suppose that's why I've been a bit apathetic throughout the ordeal.
 
People just like to constantly downplay Melee because some people prefer competitive fighting. I do prefer both Brawl and Smash 4's roster, but I prefer Melee overall for it's better balance and fast paced gameplay.

Fighting games are probably my second favorite genre next to Platformers so despite the fact I am mediocre at playing them, I still love always checking them out and having fun (usually get my ass kicked online on a good portion of Street Fighter IV). I always stop at any nearby arcades to see what I can find. I'm all about that Street Fighter. :mryellow:

Lol yes, for the ones that didn't end well. It's quite 50/50 when I use Pikachu.
 
I hate Brawl hacks that just reskin character. Make original ones damn it. Mega Man Brawl hack is best since it can do mostly all attacks from SSB4 and seems original.
 
You're right, but playing with Rayman is possible in this version. (With hack, but it still interests me)
It would be so nice if Rayman became an official DLC of the game...

You could make one yourself. But I guess your biggest talent is to complain and be ungrateful.
 
I have every right to criticize reskins if they are only made for the purpose of creating illusion that you play with other character. Making original skins for character but not trying to chnage who he is (for example Dr.Mario skin in Project M is awesome) I will always support but trying to make false illusion that you play as other characters is just dumb and they don't even change the fucking character picture. People should make original from scratch with original moves and stuff like it was case with Mega Man in SSBB. And by your logic, just because someone can't do something means they cannot criticize? So every game reviewer must be programmer and game maker too?

I thought the eye brows were just a thing the faker did, because he didn't know much about the character.... but apparently the real trophy has them exactly like it. The trophy was made by Ubisoft. The eye brows are offical and... we'll propably see them in the next Rayman? I don't really get how you guys haven't talked about this.. or have I missed it? I only recal people saying it's good that the leak wasn't real, because they didn't want this design. If it was real, we propably would've gotten the same design anyway. So no... it's not good that it wasn't real.

And about the custom Brawl skins... some people don't have the time to do new movesets for each character. We have new movesets for some custom characters and lots of different skins. The skins are better than nothing and I've enjoyed them a lot. It's great to be able to just change the color of the character so that the skin changes completely. It's like alt costumes done right. We have lots of them for each character. Something Sakurai's team couldn't do either.
 
Yeah, pretty sure we did sound off a little about the eyebrows when the trophy was first shown, but back then, I think most were dissing Rayman's odd pose.

(And if I'm being honest, Ray looks horrible in those images)
 
Well this is unacceptable. Unacceptable entirely. I shall be writing a strongly-worded letter to whomever-it-may-concern about this shocking design choice.

Don't you just love how far some fanbases go?
 
I'm more annoyed by the fact that his face is so... skinny. It's looks very squished, lol. I preferred the pretty much perfect size of Rayman's head in R3.
