< doesn't mind it too much since it means < can still have mac & cheese and pizza and all that fun stuff
The main things < can't have besides milk own it's own include yoghurts and oddly enough milk with coffee

< actually meant it more to emphasise the "thank you" (an adjective for which I cannot now seem to find). < later realised it was actually quite an ironic smiley to use given the topic at hand.

Actually, you pretty much used it in the same way < did, when it's the closest emote to what you want and there's no other alternative so you have to use it. That's how it came to be all-purpose for me, < was feeling lazy and it was the closest, and at a different time < was eating something delicious and it was the closest again. Since then it's just been for any time < can't express <'s emotions properly through any other emote, and chinois just says it all...
