He makes a fair point, we've probably gone through dozens of discussions about how we'd have liked to see some more world-building and the like, and how we wished that RO's plot were a little more opaque.
Sorry roles, but it's quite clear from the dialogue and the movement of the moons in that cutscene (plus the visual shift) that the latter half is a flashback to Andre's creation.
Alright so I watched it back again on YouTube. Obviously the start of the ending is indeed the ending. Just because the moons move why does that mean it's the past? Why doesn't it mean that it's just later in the night?? Either way it's a seriously obscure thing which I've never even noticed before O_O
"A flashback is then shown. It reveals that, immediately prior to the beginning of the game, Rayman's hands sleepwalked and created strange shadow puppets on a wall. These shadow puppets frightened a nearby Red Lum so badly that it was transformed into a Black Lum: André.
