Almost everyone from R2, R3, and M practically only appeared once and were never seen again yeah, REAL significant there.

Story schmory, if it wasn't for those games we'd have never fallen in less than three with Rayman. Well apart from you ofc

2d grafix r da best 8)

He makes a fair point, we've probably gone through dozens of discussions about how we'd have liked to see some more world-building and the like, and how we wished that RO's plot were a little more opaque.

I guess that's where I'm different. I just fit the games into my own sort of story

Rayman 1 never happened

Rayman Revolution is where it all starts

Rayman M might be some sort of thing that happened after Revolution

Rayman 3 happened

and that was it, and Andre never came back to life at the end

Andre never came back to life though. He came back as a ghost and the ending cutscene of Rayman 3 was how Andre came to be.

No it's not! Didn't you see the moons go back? That's obviously means that cutscene is a look into the past, you dumpling.

Yeah Jewish, it's my headcanon! haha <3

and wtf are you on about!!! it was the END CUT SCENE!! why would they explain that at the start, we already know how he came to be!!!!

don't make me find it on YouTube!

Sorry roles, but it's quite clear from the dialogue and the movement of the moons in that cutscene (plus the visual shift) that the latter half is a flashback to Andre's creation.

Alright so I watched it back again on YouTube. Obviously the start of the ending is indeed the ending. Just because the moons move why does that mean it's the past? Why doesn't it mean that it's just later in the night?? Either way it's a seriously obscure thing which I've never even noticed before O_O

Oh boy.

"A flashback is then shown. It reveals that, immediately prior to the beginning of the game, Rayman's hands sleepwalked and created strange shadow puppets on a wall. These shadow puppets frightened a nearby Red Lum so badly that it was transformed into a Black Lum: André. This means that the actions of Rayman's wandering hands brought about the creation of the Hoodlum army and caused all the events of the entire game."
