Re: What games are you currently playing?
Been playing Cities: Skylines, and barring a few quiffs and crashes, it's very fun. As my first foray into City Builders, I'm hooked.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
I just got tetris dx and I'm very disappointed that it doesn't have the tetris theme

I picked up the HD remake for PS3, pretty well worth it if you want dem HD visuals! Comes with both the original and X-2Jewish Candy wrote: (I kinda want to get X-2 for that reason)
Lol you aren't missing a whole lot, the new ones are good but nothing special at all really, just my opinion though.Jewish Candy wrote:Stop reminding me that pokemon exists and I can play itno fundz 4 dat

Playing Donkey Kong Land. This will give my fix.
But now I have the need to play Crash Bandicoot. I need my fix on that.

You played Twinsanity, no? Maybe try out the older games, they're fairly cheap on ebay.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Yeah, yeah. I've been watching lots of gameplay videos of the older Crash games. That's what I've been wanting to try out. Maybe once I get a job and some more moolah, I might be able to buy a PSone alongside those games.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
They run on PS2 as well, might be a better option.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
I see. But I've been wanting to get a PSone ever since my little sister broke our first one long time ago.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Not a much tho. Played the Payday 2 Demo that I've been playing a while ago. Any recommendations for any shooter? Any shooter worth buying now?

I guess that's fair enough, but you're getting much more from a PS2 in comparison. Back when backwards compatibility was a norm.Bradandez wrote:I see. But I've been wanting to get a PSone ever since my little sister broke our first one long time ago.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Backwards compatibility is still the norm. The PS4 and Xbone are just "Oh so unconventionnal"
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Yes, but I forgot to mention that I do have a PS2 in the household, it just doesn't have the wires. I just wanna get another slim PS One for collection purposes.

Fair enough, though you could always look around for some ps2 cables as well.

Ps2 cables are super cheap on ebay. (Only $1.79!)
Re: What games are you currently playing?
That is pretty cheap, though nonetheless I would still like to own a slim PSone.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Are the Land games any good? I've been wanting to play the whole classic DK series but I feel like getting the GB games might be seriously downgrading the experience.Bradandez wrote:Playing Donkey Kong Land. This will give my fix.
W-what? They dropped backwards compatibility? Why...?Pirez wrote:Backwards compatibility is still the norm. The PS4 and Xbone are just "Oh so unconventionnal"

Re: What games are you currently playing?
I can sort of understand why the PS4 didn't support PS3 titles, given PS3's rather unique architecture, but why it couldn't emulate PS1 and PS2, as the PS3 had done so, I'm not sure. That seems more like an omission out of laziness in honesty.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
PS3 could hardly emulate PS2, it had a lot of problems that just made it not worth playing PS2 games on.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Yeah, it's pretty good! It's like the same experience just made for the Game Boy, so expect a few tweaks here and there.Keane wrote:Are the Land games any good? Re: What games are you currently playing?
Fair dos, but what about the PS4? Modern day PCs can emulate PS2 to a reasonable degree, seeing as Sony knows how the PS2 works, and wouldn't have to rely on reverse engineering, surely the PS4 would be capable of doing it as well?Rayfist wrote:PS3 could hardly emulate PS2, it had a lot of problems that just made it not worth playing PS2 games on.
