Rayman (kinda) confirmed for Smash Bros. - VOTE Rayman

Oh, I'm a friggin' idiot! Both Smash versions have different stages for each third party character. And here's my idea.

Wii U Smash gets a stage inspired by Legends and 3DS stage gets one based off of Origins!
 
That'd be a good idea, but I'd kinda prefer a stage from Rayman 1 on the 3DS version, since the latest port of that game was for DSiWare (and said port was later released on the 3DS eShop).
 
But going what the trophy of Rayman in Smash, it shows Rayman appeared in Rayman Origins for the 3DS. It would be more logical for a Rayman Origins themed stage than a Rayman 1 in the 3DS version.

I'm pretty sure they could at least include some R1 music. It's like saying the Lost World stage can't use older Sonic music because it's not an older Sonic stage.
 
Duh. I would love some Rayman 1, Rayman M, and Rayman 3 music along with Origins/Legends music. I think they'll also include trophies of older characters

I'm wondering how Rayman's doing in the Smash ballot. All I'm seeing is people voting for Shovel Knight or Shantae.
 
Yeah, too bad we don't get official standing of sorts.
Although that's probably so we won't get influenced by other's votes.
 
Here's what I got so far in terms of anything but a moveset:

Wii U stage: Glade of Dreams (Legends)
3DS stage: Glade of Dreams (Origins)

Rayman Alternate Colors: Default, Raymesis, Dark Rayman, Raybox

Trophies: Rayman, Globox, Barbara, Teenises, Bubble Dreamer, Nymphs, Ly, Clark, Murfy, and a villain or two

Taunts: Up- Grimace, Side- Basketball Torso, Down- Disco Dance

So I've thought of a solution to end what Rayman's moveset will possibly be. Some fans want Rayman 2 moves, some fans want Rayman 3 moves, and the right fans want the Rayman 1/Origins/Legends moves. And that can be solved by one thing: CUSTOM MOVES!

Have the default B attacks based on Rayman 1/Origins/Legends and the other two attack sets on Rayman 2 and 3! See everyone wins!

I feel like if there were villain trophies, there would be:
1. Ales Mansay (The Magician): According to the "game appearances" Nintendo listed for Rayman's trohpy, there were only Origins and Legends listed. Also, if they have two other characters from Legends as trophies...coughcoughgloboxandbarbcough, I feel like they would add onto that and put Ales Mansay as a trophy.

2. Razordbeard: I have a feeling people would know this guy from the millions of remakes of Rayman 2.

3. There are the possibilities of Andre or the hoodlums appearing as villain trophies as well since there can be some Rayman 3 representation in there somewhere. (Not quite sure they would do it, but if they felt even more generous to feature Rayman 3 characters as trophies, I can see Razoff, Begoniax or Reflux.)

I also bet my bottom dollar they would add a rabbid as a trophy. Not only a normal trophy, but also an Assist Trophy quite possibly. Ubisoft decided to spoil them with plethora of games, so I feel like a lot of people would be familiar with those dorks.

As for costumes, there is also the possibility of adding one or a few color schemes of the power ups from Rayman 3.

Just voted for Rayman. I really want to see this happen since there is a chance.
 
Yes, Ales would make the most sense to be the villain representation for Rayman, seeing as he appears in those two games and is the only reoccurring villain that has shown up in more than one main Rayman game.

I think for an assist trophy, it should definitely be Globox or Betilla. Globox can do his rain dance which would make heavy rain fall down on the opponents. Or Betilla, and she can do her little hip sway and give a power boost to the player who activates her.

That ability hasn't been acknowledged in a Rayman game since R2 so I highly, highly doubt it would be utilized in Smash Bros.
