Rayman Adventures

Here's some good news: On the first level's leaderboard, I saw normal, purple shirt Ray.
Yep! Looks like he's called Classic Ray and is a skin you can unlock:

So far the game has way better level variety than Legends. They actually used the castle invasion setting for something other than a boss or chase stage, and the last level i played involved sliding through tree trunks while traveling down a waterfall.

Can't wait to see what 20,000 Lums Under the Sea and Fiesta de los Muertos involve!

I agree, looking at at the gameplay videos I thought the same. I actually got Rayman 2 vibes from the tree trunks level, that was really good. I also like that they seem to have used more of the enchanted forest, I felt that was used too little in Legends.
As I mentioned before, I think this looks pretty good if I view it as a Rayman Legends: The Lost Levels or Rayman Legends DLC. It's even better than usual for a mobile game, but the fact that Ancel and his team are making one is still disheartening - and even more so when you take that quote from l'Histoire de Rayman into account.

So far I've heard on other forums that people actually preferred the controls of RJR and RFR over the additional freedom in Rayman Adventures (all the more proof that this belongs on consoles). What do you think of this Bionichute?

I like the freedom, but the controls are a bit... awkward at first, especially attacking.

Agreed with everything. After watching the gameplay videos, Adventures looks much better than RJR and RFR together. I'll definitely enjoy to play this spinoff as soon as it comes out.

Some notes:

1. I played a level that was based on a haunted house. It used a bunch of new assets, like new chairs, ghost enemies, and even a new background. I have a feeling most of it was taken from the Dracula world, actually, so this proves that world was in development at some point.
2. The timers are kind of ridiculous. They increase as you complete each mission, and right now I'm waiting for a 1 hour 50 minute timer to finish. The cost for completing them aren't super high, however.
3. It's really nice to see the underused themes actually being used. I've played more actual Olympus themed stages in Olympus Maximus than Hell levels.
4. The creatures are really cute.

So I'm checking through game files, and mapfile.txt mentions testmaps available O_o
I'm gonna see into ipk to check more :P
edit: ipk isn't extractable atm so fuck :(

So as playable character we have a loooot of character, we have a skin named "Rayman Dev Team" a Splinter-Ray, Dark Globox, Globox teensie, Viking Rayman named "Raymolk", Poglox, Rayomz, Ray Vaas, Assasins Ray and many other character! :)

Just checked, Raymolk still looks like Raymolk, and not like a viking.

yep my bad, there was so many text so I messed up lmao, btw here's full text:

I tried installing game but it won't install on my iOS because I don't have iOS 8 and this game requires it. iPhone 4 is sadly not compatible with iOS 8.

But yes, guys, don't forget that Globox isn't present in game files, so either the game mentions him, either he's just scrapped or planned to be added later ;)

He's listed as "Coming soon" in the game, along with Grand Minimus.

I know Barbara has the tightest controls other than Rayman but

they felt she deserved to be in it from the start more than globox, the lovable sidekick from rayman 2
