I don't know how the english forums were because I only came sometimes in the french forums (to make fun at every dumb there) and it was really a big bullsh*t :roll:
 
To say the truth, it was getting a little over-the-top. Perhaps a forum that is too active is bad. Pirate-Community is just right though.
 
You're right, Pirate-Community isn't the most active forum all over the world but it's active enough to be a nice place!
 
Yeah, I mean, it has just the right amount of members to post and just the right amount of activity. For me that is, anyways.
 
Most recently, I am in the process of revising the course opportunity, responding both to student input and to my interests in the larger story of visual representation and the opportunities afforded by the database model. For the first two terms, I organized the course on a largely traditional chronological model, with design, fine art, writing, illustration filtered through my attempt to revisit the entire history of visual representation according to a design-dominant paradigm. I have now re-organized the course such that each lecture now encompasses both the historical and the contemporary, presenting a slice of the database pie; a story, in other words, that begins with a database sort of visual images.
 
That's why we're making it better!

Rz has gotten sucky for me again, alas, I don't think I'll be posting there much nowadays. phpBBs are just better!

RZ has been really sucky for the last year, what with idiotic moderations and the like.

Now PC, it has potential! As long as we continue to rid ourselves of matyuv and such abortions.
