Rayman M-Arena

No, I'm pretty sure, that the PC version of Arena doesn't have any new characters (I've just checked it now). However the gc version has new characters.

I just tried out Evolve along Rayman Arena for the online and I can definitely say it works! :D I managed to play two quick matches with OCG!

If more members setup the necessary stuff, we could start organize championships. :P

Then please for the love of everything edible and non-edible, PLEASE write down here the proper steps to make this thing work, because I've been trying to get it working with raymanHUN for a freaking hour with no results whatsoever.

We've: Downloaded Evolve, Created Party -> Evolve said it'd detect the game after launch but it didn't list it in it's library.
We've turned our anti-virus stuff off, checked the Evolve manual and replicated the checked stuff shown on the pictures about Windows Firewall, tried it with and without the Steam Overlay to see it if blocks anything, set LAN in the game's launcher to make sure it assumes itself to be a LAN game and still nothing.

HAVE MERCY ON US!!!! xD

At the moment it is quite complicated, you have to manually edit one of Evolve's configuration files. However, I have submitted Rayman Arena to the Evolve staff and hopefully they'll add the game's profile to the client very soon. I'll post here once they have added it and then you can try again and it should work fine.

How about telling us how to edit that config file instead, so we don't have to wait for who knows how long until the Evolve staff decides to care about the game themselves?

Sure, if you add me on Skype (my Skype name is RibShark) I will guide you through it.

YES! IT LIVES! We had a couple of epic matches with raymanHUN and we played without any troubles! I'm in for any potential future multiplayer matches if anyone's interested. :D

You know, I always come back to this forum just to check on Rayman M / Arena, see if someone made mods or something, or perhaps someone did something with all those awesome skins... I love Rayman M - and Arena moreso, probably - if only because of all the skins and the music.

But then, of course, I click on other topics, and before you know it... :P

Well if that's news for you, we can now play the PC version of Rayman Arena online with the use of a program called Evolve.

Alright, here are the steps for an online compatible working Rayman Arena which RibShark told me through Skype:

1. Get Evolve (register on their site and download their client), also get Rayman Arena (the PC version's US release which for some reason has a LAN option in it while the "M" version doesn't)

2. Get this file and copy it to:
C:\Users\{your username}\AppData\Local\Echobit\Evolve

Note that this file will manually overwrite Evolve's game database, so it'll recognize Arena when you launch it.

3. Open Evolve, click on "Help", then "Console" and write:
"gamesdb reload" (without quotes of course)

It should give you a message somewhat like this.
"Successfully reloaded games database (4392 games)."

After all this, if you want to play with someone just invite him/her as a friend just like you do it on Steam, BUT in order to play together, you need to create a "Party" first, into which your friend must be invited, then someone will host the game, the other one will connect to it and PIZZAZZ!!! Online Rayman Gaming Achieved! :mryellow:

Uhm, I already had matches and yes, it is a 64-bits system.

Weird. I've already tried this with one of my brothers and the game kept freezing on him, but only when he tried to connect to my match.
Alright then. Maybe it happened because of Win10? I can't think of any other reasons than 64bit or the OS. :?:
