It was written on the offical Jaguar gamebox, before the creator apparently knew that Rayman would become a success, thereafter the storyline had additional stuff added onto it, to hide that fact.
 
Globox is with Ly and Rayman is with Ly, but Rayman doesn't know that!
So they're really good friends.
Who knows that?
