How can you guys possibly like this? The clashing colours, the overall messiness...
 
While it's extremely busy from a visual standpoint, the assets look like they belong for the most part. The Picture City one was extremely blocky, if memory serves.
I did like the nice touches to Mr. Dark also.
 
Actually, it's just Imco. Let's all hang up on him since he's the minority here.

I mean, look at the hard transition between the dark brown/orange and the pastel pink
Or the light blue and olive green?

I agree, the textures themselves aren't all too shabby, but the implementation of them, together with the all but refined colour palette makes me cringe.
 
The Candy Chateau Mod looks great in some places, I especially like the skating enemy, that huge-demon-Mr. Dark-thingy and the bathing Darkray. :D
 
I suppose the colours could be better but overall I liked it. I especially liked seeing the R1 Candy Chateau enemies in RO style.
 
Oooh, this one is a lot better than their others! I think it's reaaaaaally pretty :)
