Shame they couldn't get the CD part to work otherwise that would have been amazing. But to see it actually working even with SNES carts is important enough.

It'd be rather neat if the disc drive was working, though I doubt it'd work with modern PS1 discs if it did.

Ah yes, i saw this video yesterday, i'm actually surprised that it works but it's really sad that the disc drive doesn't work. :|

The irony is that the PlayStation's roots are from a joint venture between Ninty and Sony. That prototype was part of said joint venture, before Ninty broke the deal with Sony. Intriguing, that by doing so, Ninty created one of its biggest competitors, one that subsequently put them down for the next two generations.

Part of me really wishes that they'd reconcile, I'd love to see what Sony and Ninty could do as allies.

So, who'd like to read a very depressing story about Sega today?http://www.nintendolife.com/news/20...ister_to_stop_them_from_working_with_nintendo

For proof that it was indeed Sega here's this to match up with another part of the story:

Yeah, I don't have a problem with men having long hair. Some of them can pull it off. Just putting it in a bun is just so ugly.
