No offense, but it really boils my blood when someone says "
Real/True fan," it's so elitist, and yet so groundless.
Either ways, I think it's fair to say that many (including myself in some areas) would like the Rayman series go in a direction that harkens back to the pre-UbiArt and pre-Rabbid days. But it's not in our place to dictate what a fan is, based off our own ideals. Nor should we invalidate someone else simply for having the gall to like the current state of things, simply because it's contrary to our own likes.
That being said, I really do hope Rayman doesn't get relegated to mobile, but for the time being, the die has been cast in such a way where it's the only area in which Rayman seems sustainable for UbiSoft. We're a passionate fanbase, no doubt, but we're rather small compared to some other fanbases.
