And it also just occurred to me that next contest is gonna be over Christmas- that means next round there'll be more tings up for grab for the jackpot!
 
Well, I guess I'll use this signature again. But I don't want to win this round or else I won't be able to participate in next month, and I really love Christmas. So I'm gonna submit this entry in order for the jackpot to be bigger this round, m'kay.

One thing I do like about this way of voting thinking about it is how it makes people post in the thread and hence bump it's visibility.
 
It would also prevent people from voting for themselves. Though I'd hope no-one was actually doing that with the old voting system.
 
I believe that was the reason that we changed the system, because there were a lot of curious instances of users votes skyrocketing
