Rayman Classic

Hmm, so all things considered, it's nothing spectacular, but it's not rubbish, either? Eh, I guess I can't fault that, given Ubi's track record.

So, what's Rayman 1 with touch controls like? Is it as bad as I fear it is?

This is just my opinion it is an ok port but I would like ubisoft to make and update for ray man designer levels and has anyone figured out any cheats yet for rayman Classic

Rayman Classic on iOS definitely one of the worst ports Ubisoft did with any Rayman game. Some people out there criticise Rayman Adventures but no. Rayman Classic is not even on Android and so far there seem no plans for it (unlike for Rayman Adventures where it was known it will be released but with delay, here we know nothing).
Second, the game is listed to be compatibile with iOS 7 which actually gave me hope I can play it on my iPhone 4 but no. Game hangs on Ubisoft logo screen. Now I must be honest, when we look at Ubisoft's port history (Rayman DS, Rayman 3D, Rayman 3 HD), we can see they are not that good and that all those ports have some serious flaws but this port takes a cake. Can't even start game. Which is shame because this version has many achivements and leaderboards.
Ubisoft, bring this on Android, PC and consoles so all fans can enjoy. We all know what happened with Rayman 2 iOS version. That never came on Android either and in the end was removed from store. I hope I don't sound too harsh but I must be honest because I want Ubisoft to improve and fix issues.

I totally disagree, and how do you even know that it's bad when you can't even play it? And the fact that you can't play it isn't completely unreasonable considering how old iPhone 4 is. In my opinion the port is pretty good. It has achievements, leaderboards and fixed music (except for the magician levels), my only disappointment i that i's not in widescreen and HD.

This very fact proves it is bad port because if it was good, it would have been optimized to run on all iOS 7 devices. Why didn't the store block download then? You know how Google Play Store warns if device is not suitable for something. Apple gives no shit.

It actually says in the description that it doesn't work on iPhone 4...
 
Must have been added after I complained about it since something like that was not written at the time I was getting game.
 
And it really seems it is a R1 port as I predicted. Too bad it is the PC one, the sound effects aren't very impressive in this version but it is better than nothing I guess as I must believe that technically it was the easiest way to go.

The YouTube channel of Ubisoft Brazil confirms that an Android port will come soon. I will try getting it once it happens.

It is not among the worst ones in my own opinion. DS was much worse but R3HD is not much behind...

Though I still have to wonder how they failed to port some textures correctly, I mean the cages "eyes" are upside down!
 
Either way, I am happy knowing that Ubisoft Brazil confirmed Android version will be released. Purchasing it day 1 to show support to R1
 
I find it funny how in general you dislike R2, yet you defend what many call the second worst port :lol:
 
Because I defend in what I believe in. If I did otherwise, I'd be a no good Sonofabitch and clearly I am not. ;)

And I saying that I dislike R2 is a lie. I like it but not as much as the rest of the Rayman games.
