List of ranks

Wow, just looking at ranks again and what a mess it is. We really need to revamp it. May I create proposal example to revamp the rank list, Humch?
 
myeah some of these ranks are a little shitty, i'd be up for reworking the list and adding some legends in.
 
Not only is the artwork a bit shitty, but the Goodie and Baddie ranks are very non-coherent. They just don't relate to one another.

And yes, adding Barbara and other Legends-related ranks are a high priority.
 
yeah the art for some of them is a little bleh, though i guess some of them don't really have any proper art.

i think we could do without a couple teensies as well, they're taking up a pretty big portion of the goodies.
 
Eh, the Teensies can do some fixing, but again they are scattered all over the place. We should wait for a response from Humch before going much more into detail.
 
Feel free to post any suggestions, but however flawed you believe the current rank list is, keep in mind that a lot of thought and effort has been put into it as part of a big community project a few years back, so be sure to make it more consistent, not less. ;)
 
It took a while, but it might be a nice convo booster.

I think we should probably start by figuring out which ranks to add, and which to take out. From the top of my head I think some potential RL ranks would include:

>Barbara
>Toads
>Polokus (Could also use R2 appearance though)
>Luchador/Giant Luchador
>Gandalf (Could replace one of the more insignificant teensies from RO)
>Dark Teensy (I guess this is the magician, but I feel like at this point they're practically different characters)
>Minotaur

Also, maybe we could should keep track of how much representation each game has among the list so to keep equal representation of every game. :roll:
 
Thus gaves me an idea, in addition for the revision of the website.
Possibly could we give the possibility to a a member to choose his rank generation which will be displayed on other member's screen.
Like :
Globox, Globox Origins, Globox Legends.
 
That's a good start, Kenae. But I think we should add all the Side A Princesses and all the Legends Bosses since it's only fair that both the Nymphs and the Origims Bosses got in as ranks.

Maybe we should separate the sets of ranks by game. A set of Rayman 1, then 2, then 3, then Origns, and then Legends. That way it isn't too scattered.
 
Polokus can unfortunately not be added to the rank list because there is no equivalent bad guy in terms of power.
 
Maybe Polokus vs Bubble Dreamer? Polokus in R2 form can be the baddie rank since media has shown us all evil people are ugly and vice versa. But still, it's ignorant. You're all ignorant.
 
I so much want Side A Princesses vs Side B Princesses, but since they are all goodies, that can't be done.

How about Gandalf vs. Toad being placed above First Grand Minimus vs. Knaaren? Also, I wanted to suggest a Golden Teensy vs. Shadow Ray rank, but given these characters, I feel that this position should be reached in some other special way if they were to be part of the rank list.
 
But then if you want to add a level in the rank list you need to reorganize every single threshold. :)
