Well, I'm just saying you just can't rule it out.

You can say that what I'm trying to say is that "All ports are imPORTant."

Well if now compilations count there are LOTS more. Rayman Gold, Rayman Forever, Rayman Collector, Rayman Fun Pack, Rayman Collection, Rayman 3-pack, Rayman Collector's Edition and so on...
And sure, Rayman Pocket PC is unheard of, but it still exists and is still a port. It should still be counted even though it's rare and no one has a pocket PC.

My original response was to someone saying "great, another Rayman 1 port". Someone would only say that if they were annoyed by a lot of recent ports of the game, of which this is only the second in fifteen years. ;)

Well, sure, it's the only "big" new port in like 15 years, counting the DSi one as the other big one. Some of the listed compilations and some of the ports have been released quite recently but whatever. Yes, there have not been many ports recently, it's not like Rayman 2 or anything.

I'll buy it! :D
Want to get the feeling of the original controls: this game supports gamepad!
Nice to know it supports gamepads, it would be too hard for me to play that without a gamepad.

Bought it in the first day, but I noticed there is some cutscene and sound lag when compared with the video or the animations themselves. I already reported this to Mya. Once gamepad controls become available I must consider to purchase a controller.

They are? I couldn't find any option in the app, unless it is triggered once there is a bluetooth device attached?

I actual bought the game the day the day the android version came out, but refunded it almost immidietly since I couldn't get my dualshock 4 to work with it, even though it does work with other games, including fiesta run.

Has anyone actually got a gamepad to work in the android version or are you all going off Ubisofts word? :? Because hate to say it but Ubisoft is kind of iconic huehue for lying about minor features in their games.

Well, I've seen it saying that in the description and the Rayman twitter page replied that to someone asking so I kind of assumed it was the case. Maybe it's a bug or something?

Can also confirm Gamepads are not working for me on Android, although I have heard from people that they are working on iOS.

Hello :)
The Rayman Classic team was not aware of this... It should be working!
Could you please tell us which controller(s) you tried?
Thanks

I was using my DualShock 4, connected via Bluetooth in the settings. It works fine in other games, so it's not a problem with my configuration. I'm enjoying being able to play Rayman on the go, and the touch controls are honestly some of the best I have seen in a platformer, but it would be nice to have physical buttons to press.

Thanks a lot :)

If I were to choose a controller to try out the game, it would be Mad Catz's C.T.R.L.. Would be nice if there was an official testing with this controller as I am considering to purchase it in future.

(I don't go on this forum often but I'll give my thoughts on this port of my favourite version of the game)

I got this game, pretty good, only problems I have with this game is the fact that a d-pad would be way better for a game like this, or atleast a bigger analog stick which doesn't make you crouch as easily.

I also can't go into the options menu for some reason, IDK if anyone else encountered this.

The game runs well, only encountered a few crashes when entering Bongo hills, but the framerate was consistant, the trophies are also a really nice addition, I do like the Easy mode too, this makes the game a lot more bareable to play when doing tricky jumps and bosses, especially for new players, speaking of bosses, I found it difficult to dodge Mr. Moskito's flight attacks, I couldn't see what direction he was heading due to the buttons getting in the way.

Overall, this is a really good port of Rayman 1, though it has the same problems a lot of other console to mobile ports suffer.

(also a PS4 port of Rayman with trophies would be perfect. :D )
