"Haywired Heist" actually connects with another level, where the player leaves the Captain behind when he's surrounded by Toads. That's why he's imprisioned in "Haywired Heist" and the player must free him there. I barely connected those two levels recently. It's really subtle storytelling for a game that only focuses on gameplay. As I stated before, these new levels are so well designed they can pass off as DLC if they were much longer.

Origins didn't have much subtle storytelling, but Legends definitely did. If you paid close attention, the levels in Legends showed progress. The levels felt connected to one another and told the players their progress through them.

I also got two new replays if you want to check them out.

I just found a Best Bud on the adventure map, and it appeared on the tree, but it didn't grow it, and it also appeared as a "duplicate", is that what you were experiencing, Hunch? Also, what the fuck?

In these latest days I have been playing Rayman Adventures with more depth (I know, finally!) as I have the chance to use mobile internet with more freedom since a few weeks so I can play Rayman Adventures during transportation and my impressions have been very positive in general. I still keep my opinion of before: this is definitely one of the best Rayman spin-offs done so far. Inside the portable games it is in my top 3. As I advanced more in the game and unlocked more content I want to praise a lot a detail, namely the level design (if you do not use Seekers, some secret areas are really easy to miss!). There was a Teensie seeking level of the Sea of Serendipity that was bringing me back to Rayman 2's Whale Bay and also to the 13th level of Monolith's Captain Claw as the visuals were pretty close. But it wasn't just the visuals that I liked, but the construction and playability of the level, I had fun with this one. I think most of my favourite levels on Adventures have been from the Sea of Serendipity but the game in general presents a fair amount of variety of challenges, something that Rayman Legends lacked (The Challenges of RL get boring very quickly once you are aiming for the Level 11 of Awesomeness, a latest experience in the game that I did not find pleasant). Even the Creatures of Rayman Legends are easily forgetful, the Adventures ones are by far more useful and cuter so there is consequently a bigger bond between the player and these new characters. In the next days I will try to purchase a Android controller to have a better capacity of control as I still do some stupid mistakes, especially in the Timed levels. I also purchased the Essentials Pack while it was in sales and the extra gems were pretty useful (and I self-released now it is much more wiser to save the gems for the New Creature elixirs). At the time I am writing this I have 35 Incrediballs so far. Hopefully I will reach the total number soon or later with some patience and persistence. :)

Does anyone have an issue with two of the new Olympus Maximus levels where they seem sort of broken? One of them has little pool platforms and you have to jump up to the pigs to get enough lums but there is no way to reach the pigs on some parts (unless I'm missing something, but I've tried many things). So that level doesn't seem possible to get the final chest, which is a first for me, since most of this game is really easy and simplistic.

The other level is an enemy level, I think maybe on the same map as the aforementioned one but starting from top to bottom instead. Every level you can get the top score without using a creature (except for one and the ones where you have to take a hit to get coins) but this one seems to be required to have at least 40 extra lums from creatures.

The one from the initial batch is an enemy level in the Sea of Serendipity where you ride the slider handle thingy and hit enemies. It always ends up with 100 lums unless I'm missing some secrets for the other sixty. So you have to fill up the other 60 with creatures.

There's also a level on Olympus Maximus with the inside rooms and almost always one of the teensies will not give you 100 lums in one room. I can replay it a bunch and cross my fingers, but it just seems buggy. At this point I no longer care, I'm slogging my way through a few sessions everyday until I hit the 50,000 enemy mark and then I'm not playing anymore until there's new content. I seem to have an excess of gems at this point and since they nerfed the tickets I don't even mess with those to get more potions and gems anymore.

Having almost all the achievements, getting 3000 gems for the remaining characters will be a pain in the ass. I've bought all the 150, 500 and 1500 gems ones (but only for Rayman, Globox and the Teensies), I really want Shadow Ray. And Globox. And Splinter Ray. And Teen Punk. Fuck maybe I should've been saving up for those from the beginning? Lol whoops.

Same with me for all except the Sea of Serendipity one. On that one you can find three skull coins near the end if you jump of the thing you're moving on.

@Haruka
I think why Incediballs are way better than creatures is what you said, the player creates a bond. But let me expand on that by saying that the Incrediballs have more information to them. They journey with the player, that is if the player chooses to. The Incrediballs have animations for every action and move that the player does. What, I'm really saying is that the Incrediballs are way more fleshed out than the creatures.

Man, I just need two more Barbara costumes in order to have every non-exclusive costume in the game. And then I can save gems in order to buy more new creature elixirs to stock up for future updates that may contain new families.

I pretty much got all the skins before the easter update because they fixed this bug where you could just start rapid firing ads after a while and getting 10 gems each. I would just sit there while watching a 40 minute TV show mindlessly clicking the buttons without looking much and then getting a flood of gems. Then I'd often buy tickets to get tons of food and potions and half the time make back the gems spent.

Unfortunately I don't know how you get all the skins after the easter update. Hopefully the team will at least put some of the stuff back because I can't imagine new players have a fighting chance.

That's definitely not something I'd do, I'm too fair.

I used to do that, too. Also during the bug the ads would immediately let you close them, so it was truly just a matter of how much screen-tapping you felt like doing.

Now that's gameplay!

Yes it is. Suck, eh?

Also, where are the Bon'Bons placed on everyone's tree?

I've got good news for you! The BonBon "duplicates" (but actually new ones) ataully DO grow your tree, it just doesn't show the cutscene of it growing, but when you go see the Tree, it has grown. I found this out by accident.

......

All right, after the bon bons, I'm not coming back to this game until all those problems are fixed. The game seems pretty broken right now.
