We don't know, we had almost no info on it, the only thing I found about it was it was totally completed and was supposed to come out on December 2006. However, as the mondial release of PS3 got delayed, Ubisoft decided to not release it.
However, I also read on other sites that Ubisoft never officially announced a PS3 version and that it was a mistake from VG Sites, so it's confusing.

"Worldwide", not "mondial".
The notion of a PS3 version of RRR certainly sounds like a mistake to me, but then again I don't know much.

It always felt more like a expectation than a concrete thing, given how RRR was multiplat and the 360 was getting it. I'd imagine if it were such a thing, it'd just be another port.

Rayman Raving Rabidds VR?Did you ask Michel Ancel for Rayman 3 VR maybe this could fix cutscene sounds fx and corrupted textures of Rayman 3 HD?

The thing that happened at the end, was it the game that changed Rayman's position or did you do it? Because the game did similar things when I used a moonjump cheat, so it seems to be some code preventing you from getting out of bounds.

I moved the unlimited ammo shot into the main area, and apparently you can still get it even if you're not on the shell, and it teleports you to the correct place. However, apparently when it's moved out of the secret area and into the main area, even when Rayman is on the shell he gets stuck in place after being teleported.

I also did another thing:

I'm trying to change the sample rate at which the music plays back (for a potential 44.1 khz patch), but I haven't had any luck yet. I did, however, change the speed at which most of the sound effects play back (or I might've actually changed the sample rates of the audio loaded into memory itself)^

Oh, okay. I thought the light was part of the cutscene where he gets rescued by Ly, I didn't realize you'd moved the unlimited ammo power up there.

My bad :P

Also, I've been looking quickly over RRR functions again, here's what I gathered
-Plums were set to be back and had emotions? (There are mentions of 'em crying)
-A Rabbid was supposed to vacuum Globox apparently
-You could make Rabbids your companions apparently (I think it was by like dansing to get them)
-There's a "juice" meter left in the files
-You could swim back in the proto days
-There are mentions of cages being held by Rabbids
-There was a day/night cycle
-You could use weapons obviously
-There's a Mana function left, idk why though.
-There was a combo system and you could do finishing moves
-There was a factory world apparently
-You could also ride Rabbids I think.
-There are mentions about shrooms aswell
-It had powerups.
After that there was obvious things like Teensies coming back, Lums aswell etc
obv there's a lot left :P

I think that Ancel actually confirmed in an interbiew that you could get a rabbid companion by dancing, also the riding a rabbid feature apparently got quite far in development I think, they even made a figure of it with beta goth Rayman.
Great findings, shame we didn't get this version!

Well, now that this forum is up and running, I had another look over the recent posts in this topic. I have to say… what's this about plums crying?? :P Seriously, I must have missed that before, what exactly is that about?

Sorry forgot this turned into a subsection now lol, so yeah plums has emotions I'm pretty sure. Here's a list of the functions still present in RRR about plums if you wanna find out:

Sounds quite Tonic-Trouble-ish! Maybe there was something in particular that was going to cause them to come alive.

LOL, yeah that was what I was talking about, it gives mostly the character position, but that means they've left a level select menu + position info now, there might be other stuff left
