I'm not really getting this question, of how R1 art style can be referred to some character design, after checking the design of newer characters. But I'll go along with RibShark's answer.

I'll ask another question since it was pretty bad. I meant when Rayman's newer character redesigns are on the screen at the same time as the Rayman 1 world, and the possible answers were the 2D Madness/Nightmare minigames and the screen you get before playing the Rayman 2 prototype
