Go in control panel and change theme how you want to appear for you :)
Holiday theme should stay as an option always ;)
 
I think he refers to how the theme should revert back to the post Anniversary theme now, as opposed to being festive, no point in having a special festive theme if it's just going to stick about perpetually.
