Re: What games are you currently playing?
I just finished Mega Man 2 in difficult mode. Although this was my first Mega Man game, it was a lot less harder than I imagined it (it wasn't a cakewalk though, sometimes I still got my ass handed to me). Maybe it had to do with the fact that I was playing it at 50hz, who knows.
Damn grammar errors.

I admit I committed an inexcusable sin with registering on RPC without knowing the ending of any Rayman game. I will delete my account after this post.PluMGMK wrote:Gasp! Off with his head!
About Rayman 1... I am really surprised how difficult that game is. I can't really imagine a little child completing it, I would just get angry about dying again and again. I will definitely finish R2 and 3, I remember I really loved them. It's about time to put and end on them after many years.Master wrote:Hm, Rayman 1 I can understand, but Rayman 2 and 3 are pretty simple to complete, the former isn't too hard, and the latter doesn't have that many levels.

I remember finishing most of Rayman 1 when I was really little, everything except for Candy Chateau (which I didn't know existed).
You underestimate the incredible persistence of children with only one game installed on their computers

Played a bit of Rayman Designer, all time spent on creating own levels.

Fingers? Not head, or eyes? I'd consider it a good night!

Yeah, once you get the Metal Blade you're set for the rest of the game.CHRdutch wrote:I just finished Mega Man 2 in difficult mode. Also why the fuck were you playing the PAL version? This would be justified if you were playing on a real NES, but if you were using Emu, may as well download NTSC or NTSC-J.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Am I wrong in thinking the point in Mega Man is not to avoid all the attacks but just pick up as much health as possible?
The first time I played I thought I sucked because I couldn't dodge many of the attacks, then I realised there's so much health it doesn't really matter.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Well its for this reason why I never even found the NES Mega Man games that hard like people say they are. Although if you have good patience you can easily play through stages without taking any hits. Lot of people just like to rush through- which is fine too.Ambidextroid wrote:Am I wrong in thinking the point in Mega Man is not to avoid all the attacks but just pick up as much health as possible?

I'm currenly playing Landstalker, I just finished Greenmaze. This game gets pretty frustrating at times, but somehow I still enjoy playing it.

Drolpiraat, an RPG I've been wanting to tell you about you need to check out: Panzer Dragoon Saga for the Sega Saturn.
I've been playing the game on my saturn via backup discs (because fuck paying $400-$600). And it is god damn incredible, it's a shame it's so expensive.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
I watched a bit of it on YouTube just now and it does look really interesting. I don't have a Saturn and don't plan to get one, but I guess emulation is an option. I added it to my (already huge) "plan-to-play" list, so thanks!

I've heard that folks have started data mining Breath of the Wild, might be best to be wary of spoilers.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Playing a burned copy unfortunately might be your only way of experiencing it, as the Saturn emulator is incredibly inaccurate and still contains few issues with PDS that can render it unplayable.Drolpiraat wrote:I watched a bit of it on YouTube just now and it does look really interesting. Re: What games are you currently playing?
Been playing a lot of Battlefield 1, Modern Warfare Remastered and CS:GO. Haven't really been in the mood for much single player stuff as of late, but wanna get Horizon: Zero Dawn next week.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Beginning to fear I might be starting to eat, sleep and breathe Runescape. It's great.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Just started playing n++ on Steam, and while the game isn't bad it does get a bit repetitive and aggravating. I would prefer if it where more focused on speedrunning than collecting, maybe with a minimum time goal or something, but instead it rewards you for picking up every square in each level which are often placed in precarious locations, which I don't think goes well with the admittedly excellent meatboy-esque tight controls and physics.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
It's almost a week or two have been playing dinosaur games almost every day.
